Colleen has been a licensed Realtor for over 15 years. Prior to that, her career had been in high tech marketing for startup companies. Colleen has always had a passion for houses and when she was ready for a career change, she pursued that passion by obtaining her real estate license. She is very client focused and her goal is to remove as much stress from the process for her clients as possible. Colleen’s honesty and trustfulness have her clients working with her repeatedly and referring their friends and family to her.

Colleen grew up in Westborough and she and her husband, Mark, have resided in Shrewsbury for the past 15 years.

What made you want to join Lamacchia Realty?

Making the move to Lamacchia was a no-brainer for me. With the cutting edge tools, technology, training, programs and support they provide their agents, it will enable me to provide an even higher level of service to my clients. Additionally, Lamacchia Realty treats all of their agents like a wonderfully close-knit family and there’s a high level of energy throughout the company. At Lamacchia Realty, I feel like I have come home!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, reading, baking, doing assorted crafts, and renovating and redecorating our home.

Do you have a favorite charity?

I’m currently the President of the Northboro Lions Club and am involved with many fundraisers with them to raise money so that we can host events for the community such as a Harvest Dinner, sponsoring a NEADs dog, Community Dinners, providing eye glasses to students who otherwise may not be able to get them and so much more. I am also a supporter of Cocker Spaniel Rescue of New England for whom I have fostered a senior medical needs dog and help with their annual auction. Additionally, I am a supporter of Camp Cocker Resuce based in Los Angeles, CA.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

What I love most about my job is being of service to others. The feeling that I’ve helped someone achieve their real estate dreams is incredibly rewarding to me.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, my husband and I have two rescue dogs. We have a 12 year old black lab mix named Ruby and a 7 year old cocker spaniel named Newton. I always think there’s room for one more dog, so stay tuned.

What are your favorite sports, and sports teams?

While I don’t play any sports myself, I enjoy watching most professional sports and my favorite team is definitely the New England Patriots.

As a first time home buyer, we heard many stories from family and friends about horrible agents and home buying process. However when we first met Colleen, she made sure we felt comfortable; in our first meeting Colleen was extremely professional and we knew we could count on her to buy our dream home. She never made us feel uncomfortable and helped us ease the overall home buying process by explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand from the beginning to the end, her commitment is reflected in her attention to the details. We contacted Colleen when we wanted to sell our house and she had it listed within 24 hours with an open house scheduled for 3 days later. Her online presentation of the house was fantastic and resulting activity at the open house was outstanding. The open house was on a Sunday afternoon and we had 3 offers on the house by Monday afternoon. Overall time from contacting her to having a signed agreement was 6 days. She was always in contact with us throughout the entire process which was great as we had a lot of questions along the way. Any issues that arose were handled professionally and in a timely manner. Our experience couldn't have gone better and we would recommend her to anyone looking to sell or purchase a home.

Where do I begin??? Colleen was referred to us by a friend, and boy are we glad we went with her. We didn't even look anywhere else, as our first impression was spot on. Colleen was helpful beyond words, and is so knowledgeable of the regional real estate market. I had about a million questions, and she *always* responded within the day, usually within minutes of the email going out (no joke, she's that quick!)
