Emerson Realtors was co-founded by Kevin Maher, a fifth generation REALTOR® whose career spanned an impressive 45 years. Lamacchia Realty has been serving Auburn and the surrounding areas for over a decade, and the Lamacchia Worcester office was the top real estate office in Worcester County in 2023 by transaction. Anthony Lamacchia and the entire leadership team at Lamacchia are truly honored to be bringing on such highly respected REALTORS® and opening a branch office in Auburn to serve more buyers and sellers in the area with this legacy brokerage.

Brooke Wrenn and John Mulryan, co-owners of Emerson Realtors alongside Kevin Maher, have served the community so successfully that the brokerage has regularly been the number one or number two real estate company in Auburn year after year and has remained in the top 10 in surrounding towns including Oxford, Charlton, and more for many years.
Brooke and John along with Kate Maher Campbell, Kevin’s daughter, will be joining Lamacchia Realty along with twenty-four other REALTORS® including Laura Poulin Harkins, Michelle Albinson, Kerstin Bean, Allan Bolivar, Jeanne Bolivar, Charles Derosier, Thomas Dombroski, Ronald Garabedian, Will Grenache, Richard Hansson, Jennifer Kittredge, Cheryl Lancaster, Wyatt Lyons, Carmela Manzaro, Ashley O’Connor, Robyn Paine, Joselyne Santiago, Joanne St. Pierre, Tally Sundstrom, Grace Swedberg, and Kristen Tobin.
Emerson Realtors was founded in 1996 by Kevin Maher and John Stelmok, four generations after Cornelius Maher opened his first real estate office in Worcester in 1880. Kevin’s impressive career and impact on the local industry began when he received his real estate license in 1977 and embarked on his career. Prior to Emerson Realtors, he co-owned Century 21 Maher Real Estate in Auburn. Over the years he served on the Board of REALTORS® in many capacities, was consistently a top producer, and was the number one agent in Auburn for many years. He also co-owned Emerson Homes where he built and sold hundreds of homes in Central Mass.
Prior to his recent passing, Kevin was involved in the discussion and decision to move forward with becoming a part of Lamacchia Realty. Back in February Kevin and Anthony spoke and traded emails about the two companies, the industry, and Kevin’s many years of experience in the area.

Lamacchia has over the years implemented a highly aggressive marketing campaign to dramatically boost the company’s market reach in the region but will accelerate it to help add more top-rated REALTORS® to the Auburn office. The marketing plan features, additional billboards on the Mass Pike and other major roadways, social media posts, postcards, newspaper ads, and much more.
This marks Lamacchia Realty’s fifth acquisition in Massachusetts in the past 10 months with the prior acquisitions in Springfield with Sears Real Estate, Falmouth with Foley Real Estate, Fall River with Right Choice Real Estate, and Seekonk with Keystone Property Group. Lamacchia Realty is excited to bring on even more REALTORS® in Central Massachusetts in the weeks and months to come.
