St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and the Greater Newburyport area is brimming with events that will bring out the Irish spirit in everyone. Open from 10AM – 10PM on Saturday, March 15th – Mill 77 will be featuring their Irish Stout and Irish Red Ale with food by Wicked Tasty Food Truck, arriving at 11AM. Live music with Kitchen Party starts at 6PM with an eclectic mix of acoustic pop, rock, folk and country hits, all taking place in historic downtown Amesbury, MA.

Enjoy a Leprechaun Latte and other seasonal specialty drinks along with a shamrock or Bailey’s whoopie pie – for a limited time only. Special event – live music- Sunday, March 16th, the Bairneach will be performing Irish music from 10AM-Noon.

 

The Port Tavern, State Street, Newburyport, MA – March 12 – March 17th

The Port Tavern will be serving a traditional corned beef dinner Wednesday, March 12th – Monday, March 17th. Irish music will add to the festivities throughout the week with a variety of entertainers (visit their website here for details) and join them Saturday for Six Nations Rugby and breakfast!

 

Kegs and Eggs at Riverwalk Brewing, 40 Parker Street, Newburyport, MA – Monday, March 17th

Brunch begins at 11AM, doors open at 9. Offering a traditional Irish brunch of eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and tomatoes along with exclusive beer offerings.
