Looking for a fun winter adventure happening right in your own backyard?

Head to the greater Newburyport area this weekend for the 19th Annual Merrimack River Eagle Festival taking place Saturday February 15th.

Check out one or more of the incredible eagle viewing locations marked along the Merrimack River in Newburyport and Amesbury, where Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats naturalists will be on hand to answer questions about these incredible birds of prey and their winter activities along the Merrimack River.

Don’t forget your binoculars and a camera – bring a zoom lens if you have one! Viewing sites may be snowy or have icy conditions so please wear appropriate foot and outerwear.

For a map and full list of viewing sites please visit the Joppa Flats website here.
