Melissa Casey is known for her dedication, attention to detail, and passion for helping clients achieve their real estate goals. Originally from Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and now based in Seekonk, her love for homes and architecture began during childhood Sunday drives with her family, where she developed an appreciation for New England’s unique architectural styles. At the same time, her parents’ commitment to maintaining and caring for their own homes instilled in her a deep sense of pride in ownership and its role in building long-term equity. These influences ultimately inspired her to pursue a career as a REALTOR®.
Melissa’s approach is all about helping clients stay focused on their goals while guiding them through what can be a complex process. She builds strong, trust-based relationships, ensuring every client feels heard and supported. With a background in education, fitness, and personal training, she brings excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep commitment to continuous learning. This dedication allows her to stay ahead of market trends, refine her expertise, and offer clients the most current and effective strategies to achieve their real estate goals.
Melissa proudly serves clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, always with a positive attitude and, when needed, a touch of humor.
Why did you choose Lamacchia Realty?
“I’ve followed Anthony Lamacchia and attended his training events for years. His expertise and willingness to share it impressed me. Lamacchia Realty stands for professionalism and growth—qualities I value as I aim to take my business to the next level.”
How does Lamacchia Realty help you serve your clients?
“Lamacchia Realty offers cutting-edge tools and support that help me provide excellent service to my clients, ensuring they feel prioritized and informed throughout the entire process.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I love spending time with my husband, James, and our two kids. Whether it’s enjoying summer days at Mayflower Beach, biking, hiking, or exploring new ice cream spots, I’m happiest when we’re together. When I get some ‘me time,’ I enjoy exercising, yoga, and spending time outdoors, which always brings me peace.”
What’s your favorite part of your job?
“Overall, I love being part of my clients’ real estate journeys, but my favorite part is helping sellers get top dollar for their homes and securing great deals for buyers. Whether it’s assisting a first-time homebuyer, guiding someone through the process of upsizing or downsizing, helping with a relocation, managing an estate sale, or exploring new construction, each transaction presents unique and fulfilling challenges and opportunities. With a strong portfolio of transactions, my negotiation skills have been honed through experience, and it’s incredibly rewarding to help my clients reach their goals. I also enjoy being a valuable resource throughout the process, connecting clients with trusted professionals, like home inspectors and lenders, to ensure a smooth transaction from start to finish.”
Do you have pets?
“Yes, I’m a lifelong dog lover. I’ve had many dogs over the years, and right now we have a Boxer named Gemma, a loyal companion who brings a lot of joy to our family. We also had a beloved brindle Boxer, Zane, who lived to 12.5 years. He’ll always hold a special place in our hearts, and Gemma helps keep his spirit alive.”
Do you support any charities?
“Before becoming a REALTOR®, I supported animal-related causes like the local animal shelter, Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog, and the MSPCA. Now, I’ve started a tradition of making a small donation to a charity of my clients’ choice to mark the completion of their transaction. This has introduced me to many wonderful causes, both local and global, and I’m grateful to help support them.”
What’s your favorite sport?
“My favorite sport to watch is definitely my son’s little league baseball games.”
